    This is different from 〜やがる. That one talks about something bad someone does often. This one talks about one bad thing someone did in the past.

    Don't use this when you want to be polite. For example, don't say "彼は食べやがった" (kare wa tabeyagatta) to your boss. This form is very rude. It shows you dislike what someone else did. Men use it more often. It sounds very rough.

    Use this when you want to show you are very angry. You are upset about what someone did. It strongly criticizes their action. It also criticizes the person who did it.
