When you use 〜ぐらい for an example, it makes the example seem small. It is like saying 'just' or 'only'. This shows you are being humble.

You can use 〜ぐらい or 〜くらい. They mean the same thing. People often say 〜ぐらい more. 〜くらい sounds a little more formal. Both show an amount or how much. 〜ほど also shows an amount. But 〜ほど often means a higher amount. Or it means a top limit. When you say 'not as much as B', you must use 〜ほど. You cannot use 〜ぐらい then.

Use this when you want to say someone should do at least a small thing. It can sound like you are a bit annoyed. For example, "Clean your room, at least!"
