This word shows you are much more important than the other person. But it is not rude. It sounds serious and important, like a king giving an order.

This is different from "nasai". "Nasai" is a soft command. Parents or teachers use it. This is also different from the plain command "-ro". "-ro" is very direct. This form is stronger than both. It sounds very old. It is used by someone with high power.

Watch out: To say "don't do" with this word, you must say "nasaruna." You do not say "nasarenai" or other forms. For example, "Don't go" is "ikinasaruna."

Don't use this when you talk to people today. It sounds like you are acting in a play.
