    This ending makes you sound very tough. It is like a growl. It can sound rude if you are not careful. It is mostly for close male friends. It changes sounds like すごい to すげえ.

    This is different from other words like "~da ze". "~da ze" just makes your sentence sound strong. It does not make the sentence negative. "~ku nee" makes the sentence negative.

    Don't use this when you talk about 'na'-adjectives or nouns. For example, you can't say '元気くねえ' for 'not energetic'.
