    This is different from "~saichuu ni". "~te iru tokoro" means you are doing something right now. "~saichuu ni" means something happened while you were doing something else. "~saichuu ni" is also more formal.

    Don't use this when talking about things you do often. For example, don't say "I am jogging every day right now."

    て形

    This is a special form of words. You use it to connect actions or ideas. It can mean "and then," "because," or "by doing something."

    〜ている / 〜でいる

    This means an action is happening right now. It is like adding "-ing" to a verb in English.

    〜たところだ

    This means something just finished. It shows the action ended a moment ago. It focuses on that exact time.
