    This is different from "~にくい" (nikui). "~にくい" means something is hard to do. It describes the thing itself. "~づらい" (dzurai) also means hard to do. But it means it is hard for you personally. For example, shoes can be hard to walk in (nikui). Or your sore feet can make walking hard for you (dzurai).

    Watch out: This grammar works like an "i-adjective." You must change its ending correctly. For example, the negative form is "yasuku nai." The past form is "yasukatta." The connecting form is "yasukute." Do not say "yasui janai" or "yasui deshita."
