    This phrase is very polite. It shows deep respect. Imagine you are a helpful shop assistant. You are telling a customer what you can do for them. You make it sound like they are letting you help them.

    This is much more polite and humble than other ways to say "can do." "Koto ga dekimasu" is polite, but not humble. "Koto ga kanou desu" is formal, but also not humble. "Sasete itadakemasu" asks for permission. This phrase states you can do something, very humbly.
